Hello, and welcome to our classroom. I'm so excited to get to know you, and I'm looking forward to a great year! I'm a graduate of Lamar University. I love language arts and reading, and I hope that by the end of this year, you will too.
What we're doing this year
Learning our grammar rules, and having fun while doing it
Reading some awesome fiction and non-fiction
Working on our reading comprehension skills
Learning how to write like pros
Writing our own short stories, journal entries, essays, and poetry
Learning over 300 new vocabulary words
Respecting and encouraging each other as we all do our best
